“This Has Been A Brave and Hard Journey,” Nomzamo Mbatha On Shaka iLembe. A couple of days after its TV premier the drama series is still trending. It goes without saying that Shaka iLembe lived up to its hype as viewers are happy.

The first episode, which aired this past Sunday left man on the edges of their seats. Although a lot went on, the episode focused more on the beginning of Nandi’s love story. Viewers got to see King Senzangakakhona being captivated by the beauty of Nandi, who he immediately saw as a future wife. He went as far as taking a life, just to prove how much the beautiful young lady means to him. This though bought big trouble for his clan, with blood being shed for vengeance.

Every cast member who appeared on the first episode, brought their A-Game, leaving viewers asking for more. New comers also showed why the deserve to rub shoulders with the legends cast in the series. Interestingly, there were no ads, and the episode ran from start to finish with no interruptions.

The wardrobe department, also did a splendid job on the attires. Female cast members including Nomzamo and Khabonina Qubeka, were brave enough to go topless, the whole time. The men also exposed a lot, to bring the story to life. Nomzamo’s breast trended on social media, as men couldn’t stop talking about them.

Talking about the first episode, Nomzamo, who is also the producer thanked fans for all the love. The talented actress, however, added that although she looked all confident, there were fragments of self-doubt here and there. She regards the experience as a brave and hard journey.
