Dr Malinga Makes a Payment to SARS and Here Is How Much He Parted With. Over the past couple of days, Dr Malinga has been making news both on social media and the mainstream media. This came after his touching interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG on Thursday.
On the interview the musician and businessman opened up about his repossessed assets. Dr Malinga confirmed the story that Musa Khawula shared a month ago, that South African Revenue Service came to his house and took his furniture. During his sit down with MacG, he stated that he was contacted by SARS and was told he owed them more than R2m. He then paid the first R1m and made a monthly payment plan but failed to sustain that.
Since Dr Malinga shared his story a lot of people came through for him. Among those are his industry peers like Makhadzi, Black Coffee, Kabza De Small and Oskido. As different kinds of help poured in, Dr Malinga thanked Podcast and Chill with MacG, the hosts MacG and Sol ,Phenduka as well as the Chillers. He is grateful for the love and support he was shown, and added that his dignity has been restored.
Dr Malinga did not waste and did the right thing time with all the money that he has received so far. He has paid SARS R100k. He thanked everyone who came through, bu has not stated how much outstanding balance (if there is any) he has. One thing for sure though is that Dr Malinga has learned his lesson.
“Just paid 100k to SARS Thank you so much Fam Thanks bye,” Malinga said in gratitude.
