Relebogile Mabotja Bags A New Radio Show. You can go anywhere in the world, but home is always the best place to return to. This definitely resonates so well with Relebogile Mabotja. Back in 2012, she secured a role as a freelance radio presenter and in 2013 she went onto host Overnight Live and the Early Breakfast Show on Talk Radio 702 and 567 Cape Talk.

The talented media personality, producer and actress then spread her wings to other leading radio stations in the country. In 2019, Relebogile was appointed as news reader and co-host of Metro FM’s afternoon drive show “The Kings Suite” after having served as co-host and anchor for the Breakfast Show alongside DJ Fresh. Currently she is doing an amazing job as the host of Unpacked With Relebogile Mabotja which airs weekdays on SABC3.

Relebogile is now heeding back home to Radio 702 and is excited about her return. She will host a new show, 702 Afternoons with Relebogile Mabotja starting from Monday 22 November from 1 to 3pm weekdays.

Azania Mosaka, who has been holding down the slot has announced her resignation from the radio station. Radio 702 will say goodbye to the seasoned media personality this Friday.

“As they say, all good things must come to an end. After twenty years of radio, I am stepping away from the microphone to pick up the active citizenry baton through my NGO, Peo Impact Gardens in Soweto. My next includes supporting four pillars in our communities: Health – through our vegetable garden, Body and Soul – through our breathwork offering and Mind – via the library program. I look forward to moving into a space of implementation, physically and actively doing community outreach and to use my voice to raise the profile of communities in need. I have so loved my time at 702 and will miss our loyal listeners,” Azania said.
