Twitter Reacts To 600 Nigerian Nationals Leaving SA Due To Xenophobia. About 600 Nigerian nationals are leaving South Africa after the recent attacks on African migrants in the Joburg CBD.

Since the beginning of September, 12 people have reportedly been killed in South Africa during xenophobic protests and violence. Air Peace had previously promised a free-airlift for Nigerians resident in South Africa who wish to return to Nigeria.

It looks like some Nigerians took them up in their offer and are now going home. The group was taken to OR Tambo International Airport on two buses from the Nigerian consulate this morning.

The sad thing is that we did nothing about the killers who stole land and raped out women and continue to manipulate the economy.

So we will still have poverty. And the Nigerians who sell drugs and commit crime won’t leave.
