“Years Ago, I Genuinely Thought I Was A Woman,” Innocent Matijane. One thing about Inno Matijane, he is not afraid to share deep details of his life. Inno has opened up about gender dysphoria, healing and finding peace. For years, he lived his life as a gay man, he then went on a journey as a transgender woman, and now he is back at being straight.

The reality show star, media personality and entrepreneur is currently enjoying life as a straight man. He has de-transitioned, and is now dating a woman. Despite the backlash he constantly gets, Inno seems content in his new life. He constantly quotes bible verses, to show that now he abides by Christian principles.

Inno has just sparked yet another conversation, after commenting on a trending video on X. The clip is from an upcoming episode of Mzansi Magic show, Love Wins. On the show, there are a number of guests with different sexual orientations. One of the guests, Palesa Madisakwane stated that as long as a person was not born female, they are not a woman. This of course upsets come of the guests, and a heated exchange of words erupted.

Inno has shared the clip, saying he agrees with Palesa. Giving himself as an example, Inno said years back, he also though he was a woman. Because that was far from being a reality, Inno ended up being angry. Now when he reflects back, he is grateful of the direction he took. He now has a deep sense of peace and mentally he is doing well.

“I agree with her. I haven’t watched the full episode yet, so I’ll need to do that. Years ago, I genuinely thought I was a woman, and no matter what I could have done, I would never actually be a woman. That used to make me angry. Today, I look at myself and feel a deep sense of peace about where I am mentally. I’ve come a long way, and I’m grateful that I can finally say that with honesty,” Inno said.
