They need to win their game against Czech Republic in order to proceed to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026. To put morale back into the team, former Bafana Bafana player, Siphiwe Tshabalala is asking for support for the boys.
A week ago this time, morale was high in the country as Bafana Bafana was preparing to take on Mexico in the opening game of the world cup. Many people put up statuses on social media and rocked team jerseys to show support. Other went to watch parties, where massive fun was had. Sadly the results were not in favor of the team, as Mexico beat Bafana Bafana 2-0.
Today is another chance for Bafana to redeem themselves. By the look of things though, the support has gone down massively. Tshabalala, who is one of the legends who traveled to the US to support the team, is trying to bring the energy back.
