Applications Open for the Compensation Fund Bursary. The Compensation Fund invites unemployed COID beneficiaries with permanent disabilities, their dependents, and dependents of fatally injured employees to apply for the External Bursary Programme.
About the Bursary Programme
The bursary covers tuition fees, study materials, accommodation, and a monthly stipend, helping you achieve your educational goals with full support!
Who Can Apply?
The bursary is specifically targeted at:
- COID beneficiaries who have suffered permanent disablement
- Dependents of permanently disabled COID beneficiaries
- Dependents of employees who died from occupational injuries or diseases
What the Bursary Covers
- 100% tuition coverage
- Prescribed study materials
- Accommodation
- Monthly living stipend
Fields of Study Covered
The programme supports a wide range of academic and vocational courses, especially those that allow the beneficiary to:
- Be reintegrated into the workforce
- Start their own business or become self-employed
This includes degrees, diplomas, and skills-based training programmes
