Applications Open for the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) Cellphone Repair Training Programme. If you want to become a certified Cellphone Repair Technician, this is your chance.

About the Programme

This training is done by the Vaal University of Technology E-Skills CoLab in collaboration with NEMISA, DCDT, NYDA and HCLS. The FREE Cellphone Repair Training is open to Soweto Youth.

What You Will Receive:

  • A tablet  
  • Cellphone repair toolkit
  • Business registration
  • 3 months mentoring and coaching

What’s In It for You

After completing the training, you will operate as a Cellphone Repairer, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain different types of cellphones and mobile devices.

Requirements

  • You must be a Soweto resident
  • You must be unemployed with South African Identity Document
  • You must have Grade 12 with Maths 40% or Maths Lit 50%
  • You should be deemed competent in the Pre-Assessment
