“I am Looking Forward to Serve Our People,” Former Skeem Saam Actress Pearl Nikolić Reveals New Political Home. More and more celebrities are becoming open about the political parties they support. A number of these celebs have even assumed leadership roles at their parties.
Pearl Nikolić is the latest celeb to open up about her political home. The talented actress, model, entrepreneur and Pastor recently revealed that she is a member of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK). Pearl did not reveal in what capacity exactly, but from her Instagram post, this may be a leadership role.

Pearl made a name for herself playing Sonti Magongwa in the educational SABC1 drama, Skeem Saam. After she left the show, she was still very much active as a public figure. In August 2021, Pearl revealed that she was a Pastor, sharing that she just delivered her first sermon.
In November 2923, Pearl was crowned the 1st Princess of Mrs. South Africa. From the get go, she was one of the hot favorites in the competition and went on to win, 2023 Mrs Photogenic Award, as chosen by the pageant’s official photographers. She also won the 2023 Social Media Award, as chosen by the sponsors in honour of her fantastic work representing them on Social Media. Sadly, a few days later, she stepped down from the role, and not much reason has been shared.
