One thing about Thando, she is big on birthday celebrations. Every year, she makes sure that she goes all out to celebrate the day she was born. Case in point is her 33rd birthday a few years back, where all roads led to KONKA. Being a DJ herself, Thando made sure that the celebration was one for the books. The award winning media personality, actress and entrepreneur also does the same to her loved ones, more especially family. Even her late brother Sibu Thabethe is no exception, when it comes to birthday shout outs. Sibu was shot dead in an armed robbery in 2015, an incident that has affected his family and loved ones, including Thando. Sibu did not live to see his 31st birthday, and in 2021 when Thando turned 31, she dedicated that special day for her late brother.
