Vacancy: Hotel Receptionist

Cape Town based hotel looking for a receptionist with matric and at least 1 year experience. Excellent Package plus medical aid + provident fund included. More details available from YOUTH VILLAGE.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Matric or equivalent, a recognised hospitality qualification an added advantage.

• 1 – 2 years experience preferably in a 4/ 5 Star Hospitality environment.

• Must be computer literate – Excel, Word, Fidelio/Opera an added advantage.

• Shift work/Team player

• Excellent communication skills.

Must be able to communicate clearly and audibly

.• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle situations of conflict.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• To facilitate the check-in and check-out processes as outlined in the

• To up-sell all revenue generating outlets within the Hotel

• Perform all Reception administrative duties required

• Attend to all queries related to guest stays and ensure that they are dealt

• Provide general Hotel and promotional information.

• Attend all hand over meetings

• Receive and maintain floats.

• Check VIP status and action all relevant traces.
