Lerato Kganyago Claps Back Over Assumptions That She Doesn’t Contribute to Black Society

Lerato Kganyago Claps Back Over Assumptions That She Doesn’t Contribute to Black Society. Quite a number of our celebrities give back in a massive way. They do so with bursaries, school fees, and some even give big assets such a s houses.

About a week ago, Nonku Williams came through for families in need. Through her company Lukuye Developments, Nonku donated a total of nine houses to nine families in need. These houses has definitely brought both the smiles and dignity to the these families and to the community at large. The reality show star and entrepreneur showed many out there that beyond her no-nonsense nature, she is compassionate and has a heart of Gold.

Lerato Kganyago is also one personality who is passionate about coming through for those in need. Immediately after launching her sanitary towels back in April 2020, the award winning media personality, DJ and entrepreneur donated her first batch to the needy. Since then, Lerato has been making it her aim, to help young ladies needing pads around the country.

She also went on a massive campaign a few years back, to try minimize period poverty. Lerato organized a virtual party, where fellow DJs who took part received 100 Flutter By LKG Sanitary Pads to donate to any charity of their choice. Since it was lockdown, it was a virtual party, with the likes of Naked DJ, Ayanda MVP, DJ Lamiez Holworthy and the late DJ Sumbody taking part.

Now someone on social media has the audacity to question Lerato’s contribution to the Black society. The person is convinced that all Lerato does is post pictures on social media. Well, putting the tweet in their place, she stated that in a year, she donates at least half a million pads to underprivileged girls in rural areas. Lerato then asked the individual what part do they themselves play in the community.

Donate at least 500 thousand pads to underprivileged girls in rural areas every year. What do you do?” Lerato clapped back.
