Anga Makubalo Throws Major Shade At Generations: The Legacy. Six years ago, 16 actors from Generations were fired from the SABC1 popular soapie. That was shocking news, because, the majority of them were the backbone of the show, and many thought it was the end of Generations.

Some of the prominent actors who were shown the door include, Seputla Sebogodi, Menzi Ngubane, Katlego Danke, Sophie Lichaba, Zolisa Xaluva, Winnie Ntshaba, Anga Makubalo and Zenande Mfenyana. Although being fired is not cool, majority of these people moved on to other major shows.

Anga, who played MJ, on the soapie recently took to Twitter to remember, the fateful day when they lost their jobs. The talented actor and award winning musician shared a picture of the former cast, and captioned it, “6 years ago.”

Anga also sarcastically referred to the show as a film. “Actually guys, it may be longer. 6 years ago was when we all got sacked (yayiyi filiim). This image was taken before…“
