Drip Footwear Flies High on the Most Admired Brands in Africa List. This is one of the local brands we should all be proud of. Lekau Sehoane started Drip Footwear from humble beginnings, with nothing much but a dream, positive mindset and talent. Now we live for his major milestones and achievements that he always share on social media.

Among his recent achievements, was getting recognized at the South African Business Awards 2021. The successful businessman walked away with the National Small Business Champion Award and also made it on the Top 20 Small Business Award. Under the Drip Group, Sehoana recently launched a cool fragrance for both males and females. The new scent titled Finesse By Drip comes in two bottles called Arion for Him and Ruby for Her, and has DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz as ambassadors.

Sehoana has just shared his latest achievement, and we are here for his wins. Drip Footwear has made it on the Most Admired Brands in Africa list. The shoe brand which is popular among celebrities like Cassper Nyovest and Anele Mdoda has earned itself a respectable position 65 on the list.

“I’d like to Announce that @dripfootwear has been announced on the 12th Annual Global List of the Most Admired Brands in Africa.. Just under 3 Years of this Brand and we are in the Top 100 Brands??? We’re number 65 on the List. I’m humbled… Thanks Mzansi,” Sehoana said in his appreciation post.

South Africa’s MTN has emerged as the top African brand in the continent, displacing Nigeria’s Dangote Group. The Brand Africa 100 results will be published in the June issue of African Business magazine which on sale globally in June 2022.
