Lira’s Family Gives an Update on Her Health After She Suffered a Stroke in Germany. Lira‘s family has just released a statement in which they revealed that she recently suffered a stroke whilst in Germany. As soon as the statement was shared, her fans, and well wishers took to social media wishing her a speedy recovery.
The statement, which is directed to Lira’s beloved fans, clients and associates states that she was abroad for a performance when they unfortunate happened. Because of the stroke, Lira’s ability to communicate was impacted, and her medical team has advised that her journey to recovery will take time. This is a great blow for her and her fans, as she will have to take a long break from performing.
“As Lira’s family, we would like to take this opportunity to share some recent developments regarding Lira’s health. Lira recently travelled to Germany for a performance but unfortunately suffered a stroke whilst there. As a result, her ability to communicate, in particular, her speech, has been impacted,” the statement reads.
They further revealed that the multi-award winning songstress and TV personality is currently undergoing treatment here in South Africa, led by the best medical team. The great thing is that Lira is in good spirits and is surrounded by her loving family and close friends as she journeys towards a full recovery.
