Drip CEO Lekau Sehoana Celebrates 2 Major Award Wins. He is one of the most inspirational business owners in the country. Lekau Sehoane‘s from drags to riches story is definitely one for the books. He started off from very humble beginnings and now he leads a successful empire.
He always shares positive messages on his social media platforms, narrating how far he has come in life. In one interview, Sehoana pointed out that in 2003, while doing Grade Eight, they were asked to come to school dressed casually, and as a poverty-stricken teenager, he had to make a plan to also try and fit in with other learners. He had to make a plan with an old ripped Adidas sneaker, by ripping it apart and remaining with the sole. Sehoana then redesigned the sneaker using denim jeans and polyurethane, and they came a hit.
Now Sehoana is a successful entrepreneur who opens a new shop almost every month. He recently got the recognition that he deserves at the South African Business Awards 2021. Sehoana walked away with the National Small Business Champion Award and also made it on the Top 20 Small Business Award. He couldn’t help but gush over the epic wins, and took to social media to share with fans.
Speaking like a true leader, Sehoana also mentioned that these wins don’t mean the team will slow down, in fact this is all the more reasons for the to work even harder.
“We won South African SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS 2021’s “National Small Business Champion Award” and the Top 20 Small Business Award We just received our Awards now, nothing beats dreams coming true. This doesn’t mean we’ll slack. This year we push even harder,” Sehoana said.
