Winnie Ntshaba, Lindani Nkosi, Baby Cele and Vusi Kunene To Star In An Upcoming Drama Series. Out with the old, in with the new. It was quite sad when it was announced towards the end of 2020 that Rhythm City was coming to an end after a successful 14 year run. The e.tv soapie, will sadly air its last episode on 16 July 2021.

Although this is sad news for the cast and crew, we can’t run away from the fact that a man’s loss is another one’s gain. There is a new show that will take over, which means more opportunities for other people as the industry opens up. House of Zwide which is produced by Bomb Productions and VideoVision Entertainment, is the drama series that will take Rhythm City’s slot.

The much anticipated drama series will bring veteran actors like, Lindani Nkosi, Vusi Kunene, Winnie Ntshaba and Baby Cele back to the small screen. Winnie took to Instagram to share a brief trailer of what to expect on House of Zwide. She added that the official trailer will be up this coming Thursday. On the little that the talented actress shared, we saw the legendary Kunene, which added more excitement to what is coming through.

“House of Zwide tells a thrilling rags-to-riches story set in the glamorous world of fashion. It is a timely aspirational tale with many twists and turns that we believe will keep viewers glued to their television screens. We are excited to be partnering with Bomb Productions on this production which also marks our second series with e.tv,” VideoVision Entertainment’s CEO, Anant Singh said

The show will start airing on Monday, the 19th of July, where South Africans will be introduced to a fashionable Johannesburg family who bring high drama and ruthless ambition as they rise in the cut-throat fashion industry.

Something is brewing…. Wait for it, in 3days you will see the Official trailer at 6:58pm @etvonline ,HouseOfZwide. Kusazoba mnandi! STAY TUNED ?
