1. Lerato Marabe was born in 28 June 1999 in Vosloorus, Gauteng.

2. She is currently pursuing her degree in Film Editing at AFDA in Cape Town. Marabe is studying for her degree and acting at the same time.

3. She discovered her love for acting at the age of 4 years and got her first acting job at the age of 5. Since then she has appeared in television shows like Takalani Sesame, Intersexions and 90 Plein Street to name a few.

4. Marabe is best known for her role as Pretty Seakamela on the SABC1 show, Skeem Saam. She has played the role for eight consecutive seasons since it started in 2011 to date.

5. The talented actress also played the role of Nelisa in the first season of the popular South African television show, Isibaya.

6. Earlier this year, Marabe made headlines when she shared images of herself dressed in traditional bridal wear on Instagram. It was immediately concluded that she tied the knot.

7. She then appeared on SABC1’s show Sport At 10 with Thomas Mlambo on 16 June 2021, and revealed that she was a guest at a friend’s wedding and was not getting married as reported by the media.

8. Marabe is not only an actress, but a model as well. In 2020, she was one of the models introduced as the new faces of the luxury brand Quiteria Atelier in new range themed ‘The New Order.’

9. Marabe is also a talented House Music DJ. When she is not on set or doing schoolwork, she is busy Djing at clubs venues in cities around South Africa.
