The Fergusons have become the latest celebrities to launch their own foundation. As leaders in the industry, Shona and Connie Ferguson have dedicated themselves to support disadvantaged individuals in the African continent through their foundation. The Ferguson Foundation aims at empowering those individuals in business, education, film, and ultimately building industry leaders.
The primary objective of the program is to create tomorrow’s dreams today by promoting young entrepreneurs, funding the education of disadvantaged youth,& nurturing unfletched film enthusiasts. It also aim to create balanced and equal opportunities for women who have been dealt a disadvantage in life. Their vision borders on giving an equal opportunity to as many dreamers as possible.
The Fergusons will set up a film school that will educate and inspire upcoming film enthusiasts. Their vision is to equip them with the tools they need to know about film production and functions related to film, with the aim of building future film industry leaders, producers and actors. The foundation will also sponsor the University fees of 5 carefully selected individuals from disadvantaged families, and will fund them throughout their undergraduate programs until they graduate.
Throughout this initiative, guidance will be offered to as many people as circumstances will allow over the coming years. For more info on our other programs, go to http://fergusonfoundation.co
