As a Beauty Assistant, you will provide expert product advice, create exceptional shopping experiences and help customers choose beauty and skincare products that suit their individual needs. You will also play an important role in achieving sales targets, maintaining attractive displays and supporting the daily operations of the beauty department.

About the Role

The Beauty Assistant will report directly to the Store Manager and provide support across the entire beauty department. You will assist customers with professional product recommendations, promote new and exclusive beauty ranges and ensure the department is well stocked, visually appealing and organised at all times.

This role combines customer service, retail sales, merchandising and product knowledge, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in the beauty industry.

What You Will Do

As a Beauty Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome customers and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Consult with customers to understand their beauty and skincare needs.
• Recommend suitable beauty and skincare products based on customer preferences.
• Promote, cross sell and upsell products to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Monitor product performance and suggest improvements to increase sales.
• Stay informed about the latest beauty trends, new product launches and promotions.
• Maintain attractive visual merchandising displays throughout the beauty department.
• Ensure shelves remain fully stocked and products are correctly displayed.
• Support stock management and help minimise stock losses.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and encourage new customer registrations.
• Increase customer loyalty by promoting Clicks exclusive and private label beauty products.
• Represent the Clicks brand professionally and positively during every customer interaction.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

The following will strengthen your application:

• Relevant qualification in Beauty or Skincare.
• Previous experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales or marketing.
• Knowledge of beauty products and skincare routines.
