These SA Celebs Share Their Views On The Covid-19 Vaccine. On Monday President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation gave an update regarding how the government is responding to Covid-19. Ramaphosa stated that the government already secured 20 million doses of the vaccine for the current year.
The first group to get vaccinated would be front line health workers. Then Phase 2, priority will be given to essential workers such as teachers, police, municipal workers and other front line personnel. Institutions like old age homes, shelters and prisons, people over 60 years of age and adults with comorbidities will also be prioritized.
