The award winning actress played the role of Boniswa Langa, a sweet family oriented woman, who shocked many by turning into a villain. Among the devious acts that Boniswa did was drugging and kidnapping her own son, as well as killing whoever stood in her way to the top. For this role, Lusanda walked away with the Outstanding Lead Actress award at the 2021 Royalty Soapie Awards. Talk about exiting in style!
The great news now is that Lusanda is making a comeback to the small screen. She has bagged herself a role in e.tv’s daily drama, Imbewu. Luyanda hasn’t shared much details about her new role, but knowing how good she is, we are confident that viewers are in for a thrill. She hinted a few weeks ago that she is shooting something, and now the cat is out of the bag.
Lusanda is really excited for this acting gig, more so since she will be working alongside the iconic Leletu Khumalo of Sarafina fame. Leleti, who is one of the executive producers of Imbewu plays MaZulu on the show. Her role has also been coming through with the much needed drama, making Imbewu one of the popular show on TV.
