President Cyril Ramaphosa To Address The Nation Tonight On SA’s Covid-19 Response. Another family meeting with Covid-19 as the main agenda is loading. President Cyril Ramaphosa will brief the nation on developments in relation to the country’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In December 2020, Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize announced that the country has entered the second wave of Covid-19 infections. Many are waiting with baited breath, to see if there will be any changes to the lockdown regulations since the infections are on the rise.

The address follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council (PCC) and Cabinet. On Sunday 10 January 2021, Ramaphosa, also hosted between government and interfaith leaders on the COVID-19 Risk Adjusted Strategy.

The address will be at 20h00 today, Monday 11 January 2021. It will be broadcast and streamed on a range of platforms that are accessible to South Africans and international audiences
