After Introspection Stoan Seate Apologizes for His Tweets About the EFF

After Introspection Stoan Seate Apologizes for His Tweets About the EFF. As the saying goes, to err is human, to forgive divine. It is human nature to make mistakes, but it takes a special kind of individual to forgive.

Having noted that, just a couple of days ago, Stoan Seate rubbed people off the wrong way. The multi-award winning musician, poet and actor took to Twitter to show that he was against the National Shutdown that took place on the 20th of March. The protests were organized by the Economic Freedom Fighters political party, with a demand for electricity and the resignation of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Stoan was among those individuals against the shutdown and he boldly gave the EFF the middle finger. As expected, this did not sit well with some social media users, and he was dragged for filth. His personal life, music career and acting skills got weighed in on by angry tweeps.

Although he was going through the most on Twitter, Stoan did fold one bit. He also clapped back with memes, videos and comments.

Well, well, well, what do you know! After some much needed introspection and reflection, Stoan is going back on his word. He states that he has been receiving messages from some concerned people offering him support. Stoan further apologized to the nation at large for his words, which cut deeply.

I know my words hurt you and you want to make me feel the same depth of pain…I regret that. After a lot of introspection and reflection. I’ve realized that my words cut deep…and words do matter,” Stoan said in remorse.

He also added that he loves South Africa, and understands that some people close to him are members of the EFF and voters in general. He has thus decided to take the ‘offensive’ tweets down.
