100 Most Influential Young Africans of 2019

100 Most Influential Young Africans of 2019. Africa Youth Awards has released the list of the 100 most influential young Africans of 2019. The list is released annually to honor and celebrate 100 young Africans in recognition of their work across the continent. 

The list marks its fourth year this year. It has helped shine a spotlight on the contributions of African youths to the continent. The list includes activists, politicians, musicians, footballers, athletes, entrepreneurs, lawyers, comedians, DJs, bloggers, engineers, and scientists.

South Africa is represented by 11 inspirational and hardworking young adults. They are, Sho Madjozi, Maps Maponyane, Caster Semenya, Thando Thabethe, Elton Jantjies, Nozipho Mbanjwa, Busi Mkhumbuzi Pooe, Carmel Samim, Chanelle Zackey, Mbali Nwoko and Shakira Choonara.
