Nomzamo Mbatha Sponsors 20 Buses For Students To Experience Essence Festival. Nomzamo is doing the most as this year’s ESSENCE Festival Durban Ambassador. She has sponsored 20 buses for students so that they experience the on going Essence festival.

In addition to offering Durban youth a chance to attend the festival, Mbatha offered Durban based youth an opportunity to be part of the project management phase. According to Mbatha, she returned from the trip personally inspired and motivated by the various platforms the festival afforded its patrons and the conversations she had with many attendees.

The festival is taking place from September 26 to October 1 in Durban. The annual music festival is known as a party with a purpose. It is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States, and now it is in South Africa.
