SA Celebs Mourn The Death Of True Love’s Former Editor Mam’ Dorah Sitole. Talk about starting the year off on a very sad note. South Africa has been dealt yet another hard blow, with the sad news about the passing away of Dora Sitole making rounds. The former True Love editor, Food Editor, Chef and Author passed away Sunday night at the age of 67.

The accomplished food writer, food stylist, and former True Love Editor was a trained Cordon Bleu chef. Mam’ Dora, as she was affectionately known, has helped shape a lot of people’s careers. Her culinary journey began growing up in the township and led to her becoming the exceptional food icon that many celebrate up to today.
In 2020, Mam’ Dorah, released her book titled 40 Years Of Iconic Food. Her daughter Phumzile Nelisiwe Sitole is an international actress and is known for her roles on The Good Fight (2017), Star Trek: Discovery (2017) and Orange Is the New Black (2013).
