Young Talented Actor Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane Wins A Major International Award. Ever since breaking into the industry five years ago, Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane has been doing amazing things. He continues to nail every role brought before him, proving that he is no one hit wonder.
The 15-year-old id well known for hi role as Tebello ‘Tibi’ on Scandal!. Tebello came in as an abandoned child who stayed with Yvonne Langa’s mom until she died. He then went to stay in Johannesburg with Yvonne (Kgomotso Christopher), experiencing soft life. Before the current Scandal! spin-off, Tibi was living with Bra Cosmo, who acted as his grandfather and guardian.
The fact that Litlhonolofatso is no longer appearing in Scandal! doesn’t mean his acting career is over. The talented actor is positioning himself well in the industry, and recently signed up with MLA Moonrise, an agency that was started by Moonyeenn Lee started back in 1974. He joined the likes of Dr Jerry Mofokeng, Dr John Kani, Akin Omotoso, Arnold Voslo, Kenneth Nkosi, Fana Mokoena, Bohang Moeko, Celeste Khumalo, Craig Palm, Desmond Dube, Enhle Mbali and many others.
Also recently, Litlhonolofatso made waves internationally with his role in Hollywood’s hit movie, Bird Boy. He stars alongside the likes of Téa Leoni, Tony Kgoroge, and Brandon Auret. In the movie he portrays the role of August. August is a troubled young orphan, who finds an abandoned ostrich egg and raises a giant, bird-brained best friend. When his ostrich is taken away, August risks everything to get him back.
Litlhonolofatso has just been honored for the role at the16th Festival International Issni N Ourgh du Film Amazigh (FINIFA) in Agadir, Morocco. He won the Best Actor award at the festival, sharing the award with Oumar Diaw.
