ICYMI! LaConco Takes Over Utatakho Hosting Duties. One of the most loved TV shows is back for another season. Utatakho returns for the 9th season, with the first episode getting aired today, Monday 26th 2026. The hit show follows emotional journeys as people raised with uncertainty about their biological fathers seek answers, closure and, in some cases, reconciliation.
On the steering wheel this season is Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco. The award winning TV personality and reality show star takes over from Nimrod Nkosi. The veteran TV personality and actor hosted the show since its first season. Although she has big shoes to fill, many are confident that LaConco is going to do amazingly well. She has hosted a number of shows of this sort including Forever Thina, Ingan’Yam and Our Perfect Wedding. Taking to her Instagram, LaConco shared how shooting some scenes touched her. She went on to express gratitude to everyone who contributed to the show happening.
