The Masked Singer South Africa Returns for 3rd Season. It is excitement all around as Masked Singer South Africa announce it’s return for season III. The masks are bigger, the clues are trickier, and the performances are more heavenly than ever!
The Masked Singer is a celebrity singing competition, with participating countries having their own versions. In the show, well known personalities perform under the cover of flamboyant costumes and facial masks to conceal their identities. It has proven to be a winning formula which has attracted voluminous audiences worldwide.
The South African version has been on for two seasons, boasting four detectives (judges), who did a stellar job. There were TV personality and DJ, Sithelo Shozi, media personality and al round entertainer Somizi, award winning comedian and media personality Skhumba and award winning musician, author and TV personality J Something. The host was award winning comedian and media personality Mpho Popps. He made the show extra fun, with his side jokes, keeping everyone entertained.
The first season was won by Holly Rey, with musician Kurt Darren as her runner up. The second season went to Warren Masemola and former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida, clinched the 2nd position. Other outstanding celebrities who have been part of the show include Makhadzi, Aubrey Poo, Zozibini Tunzi, Sbu Noah and Maps Maponyane.
