Khaya Mthethwa Scores An Interesting Radio Gig. Congratulation are in order for Khaya Mthethwa who will be joining Metro FM. It was announced this morning on the Fresh Breakfast, where the gospel artist and former Idols winner confirmed the news.
He will be co hosting the show with Thami dubbed The Sacred Space. “Check us out every Sunday on The Sacred Space! Alert I’m the new co host!! 6am – 9am!” he announced. His fans are as excited as him and they spend the whole morning congratulating him.
Khaya is better known as the first black person to win Idols season 8 in 2012 and is now a gospel singer and TV presenter who has released two albums since. This season he returned to the musical competition, but not to sing. He took a seat among the panel of judges in Pretoria auditions..
