Theo Baloyi Still On a Mission to Donate 1 000 000 Pairs of School Shoes. As they say, ‘blessed is the hand that gives’. As someone who is always reaching out to the less fortunate, Theo Baloyi resonates with the saying very well.

A year ago, the inspirational philanthropist visited his hood, Alexandra township, where he donated 500 pairs of Bathu Shoes at, Dr. Knak Primary School. He then proceeded to give away 750 pairs to two schools in Phake, Mpumalanga where he was raised. Baloyi stated back then that his aim was to donate 99 500 pairs by February 2022, and a whopping 995 500 pairs in the next 10years.

As South Africa commemorated Youth Day this Thursday, Baloyi celebrated their 1st anniversary of the Bathu Care Foundation, a foundation that aims to donate one (1) million school shoes in ten (10) years. The project also reignites hope, creates positive impact and helps our future leaders walk their journey.

“A mission to donate 1 000 000 pairs of school shoes in the next 10 years . Walk the journey with our future leaders , one pair at a time,” Baloyi said.
