Fans Come to Amanda Black’s Defense As the Star Is Ridiculed for Her Look. Most artists have a signature look, when they are on stage. Many Afro pop musicians prefer the natural look, with traditional outfits and accessories.

Amanda Black is one such artist, who prefers a particular look when she is on stage. The award winning musician loves showing off her natural Afro, which she sometimes twists a bit. We also love it when Amanda rocks blue braid, as one of her signature looks. She is also one of the female celebrities who have no problem with going bald. When it comes to make up, Amanda is not shy to experiment with eye shadow and loves defined eyebrows. She is also well-known for her signature traditional face painting down the middle.

Her recent look though left the country divided. Amanda showed up for her Maseru Jazz Festival performance in what many labels as a plain dress and unkempt hair. Underneath the mini dress, her black circling shorts were visible. One social media user shared Amanda’s picture and complained about the singer’s physical presentation at the concert. The individual complained that they paid R250 for a ticket only for Amanda Black to come looking like she did at the Maseru Jazz Festival.

This sparked a debate on social media with many coming to Amanda’s defense. They state that, there are more pressing issues we should be focusing on, than an artist’s choice of outfit. Some on the other hand feel that as an entertainer, Amanda should be putting more effort on her stage look.
