Another thing making waves other than her beauty, is her last name, which has social media users questioning her origin.
Since her crowning, some people have begun to ask which tribe Hombir comes from in South Africa. Some even went to the extent of accusing the beauty pageant organizers for forcing non-South Africans to compete. They refer to the Miss South Africa 2024 Top 10 finalist Chidimma Adetshina saga, which went on for months.
