Cyan Boujee Apologizes for Taking Part in the Programme Luring Girls to Russia for Opportunities

Cyan Boujee Apologizes for Taking Part in the Programme Luring Girls to Russia for Opportunities. Cyan Boujee is among the local influncers who made video clips that encouraged young women to apply for the Alabuga Start Programm.

Those taking part in the programme will apparently acquire professional skills and commence their careers. Cyan highlighted that participants would be well taken care of and would be living in a pyramid-shaped building with thousands of other women from around the world. Young women interested were promised being taught different languages, including Russian.

It wasn’t long before social media users, found some disturbing loopholes in the programme. First and foremost they target vulnerable women, which is quite a danger, looking at the rate of sex-trafficking in the world. Also the organization itself is not saying much, only influencers, who of course are paid for spreading the word. At the moment, the Russian job scheme is under investigation for alleged human trafficking.

Seeing the seriousness of this Cyan has shared a video apologizing for her part. She acknowledged that human trafficking is a serious matter and is against it. Cyan also said this is a huge learning curve for her and others in the industry,

β€œAnd I don’t think anyone with sense would repeat something like this but I want you guys to know it wasn’t for money because I haven’t been paid yet. I had four more videos to post on my YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and I was only going to get paid after posting, so it wasn’t for money. We are humans and we make mistakes. I think the positive out of this is the girls will be helped. That is the main thing. I’m frustrated by this,” she said.

I am are aware of how serious the situation is, and the team is in communication with the program, I am awaiting a response before releasing another statement, which will include more details. πŸ«±πŸΏβ€πŸ«²πŸΏ,” she captioned her apology video.
