Bokang and Simphwiwe Tshabalala Gift Their Son An Autism Centre for His 11th Birthday. What a thoughtful gesture. Bokang and Simphiwe Tshabalala have always been open about their firstborn son Owethu’s autism. They have shared so much awareness on the condition, and do the most to help another affected individuals.
Although Owethu was born with challenges, he has grown up to be this young intelligent boy who excels academically as well as in extra curricular activities. Today he is turning 11 years and his parents couldn’t be more proud.

Owethu ngwanaka I want you to know how much I love you , you are more than enough , you are more than capable and able , you are indeed my living breathing testimony, you are the living proof that there is a God , that He loves me, I used to think I know how much God loves me through my beautiful life and all these worldly successes I have and then I had you and I had no idea what God had instore for me, I KNOW GOD BECAUSE OF YOU, I HAVE SEEN GOD AND I HAVE BEEN SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY TOUCHED BY GOD BECAUSE OF YOU,” Bokang said.
The former Miss South Africa and entrepreneur also added that they have gifted Owethu an Autism centre for his 11th birthday. She expressed how proud she is for her son’s resilient, determination and how he has fought so hard to find his voice. It wasn’t an easy journey as Bokang used to long to hear her say have a conversation with her. Now that’s all in the past as Owethu speaks non stop.
“Mommy and daddy gifted you an Autism centre in your name and in your honour , and I know maybe you don’t fully grasp what a defining moment this might be for your journey and how your existence and your life is purposeful and changing the lives of so many children who are going through what you went through but I hope someday you really understand and see that have been set apart and chosen, that you are LIGHT in this world , you are destined for so much greatness,” she added.
