Internship Programme at Dept of Women, Children & People with Disabilities

The Department Of Women, Children And People With Disabilities is offering a 2014/2015 Internship Programme in Pretoria for 7 successful interns. The duration of the programme will be 12 months and during those months interns will be entitled to a stipend of R4 100 per month.

Requirements

Applicants must have satisfied the academic requirements for the advertised fields of study and must be new to the Public Service, i.e. they should have not previously served as interns in the Public Service.

1. Directorate: HRM (REF: DWCPD/01)

Degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Development/Labour relations or humanities studies

2. Chief-Directorate: Monitoring and Evaluation (Women Empowerment and Gender Equality) (REF: DWCPD/02)

Degree/National Diploma in Humanities studies

3. Chief Directorate: Institutional Support and Capacity Building (Women Empowerment and Gender Equality), (REF: DWCPD/04)

Degree/National Diploma in Public Management/ Administration, with events management knowledge

4. Chief Directorate: Advocacy and Mainstreaming (Women Empowerment and Gender Equality) (REF: DWCPD/05)

Degree/National Diploma in Public Management / Administration; knowledge in research, events management, coordination and Project Management / Coordination

5. Directorate: Risk Management (REF: DWCPD/03)

Degree/National Diploma in Financial Management or Auditing / internal Auditing / Risk Management

6. Chief Directorate: Advocacy and Mainstreaming (Children’s Rights). (REF: DWCPD/06)

Degree/National Diploma in Humanities Studies / Social Studies with Monitoring and Evaluation knowledge

7. Chief Directorate: Children’s Rights and Rights of People with Disabilities; (Monitoring and Evaluation) (REF: DWCPD/07)

Degree/National Diploma in Humanities / Social Studies, with Monitoring and Evaluation knowledge

NOTE:

Applications must be submitted on a signed Z83 form (click here to download) and should be accompanied by a recently updated, comprehensive CV as well as certified copies of all qualification(s) and ID document.

Non-RSA Citizens/Permanent Resident Permit Holders must attach a copy of their Permanent Residence Permit.

Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

Failure to submit all the requested documents will result in the application not being considered.

Short-listed candidates are required to avail themselves for interview at a date and time as determined by the Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities and will be subject to personnel security vetting.
