AKA’s Family Takes A Moment to Appreciate the Mohosanas for Their Support. One thing about Lynn Forbes is that she is big on blended families. She has always had a close bond with her son AKA’s ex DJ Zinhle. Even though both AKA and Zinhle moved on with other partners, Lynn still maintained a relationship with her son’s baby mama.

Lynn has always spoken about her love for her blended family and how much she loves Bongani and Zinhle saying they are a part of it. , “…of course I love Kairo, she is my grand daughter…because I wouldn’t have Kairo if it wasn’t for Zinhle. Well, apart from the fact that Zinhle is an amazing human being. I have the utmost respect for Zinhle because she is the mother of my grand child. Zinhle and I are almost like friends, we care deeply about each other.”

“Why do I love Bongani? Because he loves Zinhle,” she explained. “You can’t just love one person, you need to love all of them. To make a blended family work, you focus on the youngest children,” she said on IG live.

Because of their daughter Kairo, Zinhle and AKA had a cool relationship. Their co-parenting was admirable and out of this world. Despite always getting backlash, Zinhle celebrated AKA on Fathers Day, and the two always got together for Kairo’s birthdays. AKA was also cool with Bongani, and the two took a picture together at an event back in September.

It goes without saying that the untimely death of AKA has also affected Zinhle and Bongani. On a memorial and burial statement released by the Forbes family, they have acknowledged the support they are receiving form the Mohosanas.

“We’d also like to acknowledge our extended family, the Mohosana’s for their unwavering support during this time, As Bongani Mohosana will be in absentia at the memorial and funeral due to observing cultural protocol,” the statement reads.
