Warehouse/Stockroom Assistant Opportunity at Pick n Pay Klerksdorp

Pick n Pay is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Stockroom Assistant for its Klerksdorp store. This role focuses on merchandising and packing products according to company standards while maintaining hygiene, housekeeping, and safe working practices in the warehouse, stockroom, and sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Stack and store products safely and tidily.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Check product quality, rotate stock, and remove expired items.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages.
• Adhere to security procedures and operate/clean equipment according to company standards.
• Offload trucks and maintain organized stockroom operations.
• Respond courteously to customer queries.
• Perform routine tasks efficiently and maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate.
• 2–3 years of retail experience is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Successful completion of competency-based assessments and interviews.
• Flexibility to be transferred between stores if needed.
• Authorization for full credit and criminal check.
• Valid South African ID.
