Just as he is dedicated to football, McCarthy is also a great family man. The former Bafana Bafana player and Kenya National Team Head Coach, married to Scottish model Stacey Munro. The couple tied the knot in May 2014 and have two children together, a daughter named Lima Rose and a son named Lio Romero. Before his marriage to Munro, McCarthy was previously married to Maria Jose Santos. They have three daughters together: Minna, Mya and Allegra. In 2007, they separated.
