Internship Programme at North West Dept of Human Settlements, Public Safety & Liaison

The North West Department of Human Settlements, Public Safety and Liaison is looking for 20 Interns to join its Public Safety and Liaison Branch as part of the 2014/15 Internship Programme for a period of 12 months at its Mahikeng Head Office.

 

Salary: Minimum stipend of R3 947.56 per month

Requirements:

 

A 3-year tertiary qualification as specified below:

 

1. Financial Management Department – 5 Positions (Reference Number: 1/2014)

Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Financial Management or Public Finance/Accounting

 

2. Supply Chain Management Department – 5 Positions (Reference Number: 2/2014)

Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Logistics/Transport/ Economics

 

3. Revenue Department – 5 Positions (Reference Number: 3/2014)

Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Internal Auditing or Accounting or Financial Management

 

4. Internal Control Department – 5 Positions (Reference Number: 4/2014)

Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Internal Auditing or Accounting or Financial Management

 

How to apply

Applications will only be considered from unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years

Candidates who have already participated in an internship programme in any Government department will not be considered

Applications should be made on form Z83, obtainable from any Public Service Department or ,click here to download it and accompanied by a comprehensive CV, certified copies of all qualifications and Identity Document.

Application forms should be signed and dated.

Failure to submit the requested documents will result in your application not being considered

• Candidates must indicate the reference number of their preferred Directorate/District on the space provided on their application form.

Please ensure that if you are applying for more than one position, a separate application for each post must be submitted

Should you be in possession of foreign qualifications, they must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

Please take note that all qualifications are subjected to verification
