HR Administrator Wanted At e.tv. Reporting to the Human Resources (HR) Manager, the incumbent will provide a reliable, accurate and timely administrative function for all transactional HR processes for the eMedia Group.

Key Performance Areas include:

  • Deliver the end to end HR administrative processes, ensuring compliance to all relevant and appropriate internal and external compliance requirements
  • Prepare and maintain employment records relating to new hires, leave, transfers, promotions, change of employee details and terminations, using the human resources management/information system
  • Generate and co-ordinate all employee documents required in the employment files (e.g. requisitions, contract of appointment, personal information forms, etc.) ensuring the validity and accuracy of the documents
  • Actively follow-up on new hire appointments and all related paperwork, such as contracts and new hire information required for payroll, pension fund, medical aid, etc.
  • Maintain and update all organizational charts/organograms
  • Maintain employee data and employee files both manually and electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Track and actively monitor all administrative documents ensuring that these are processed and delivered to payroll timeously
  • Generate monthly reports on headcount, employee movements, benefits, training and disciplinary action, etc., managing data integrity
  • Track and monitor all fixed term contracts, independent contracts and temporary employees, alerting the relevant Manager/Head of Department/General Manager at least 1 month prior to contract expiry date
  • Prepare, process and monitor maternity leave and all relevant documentation to the Department of Labour
  • Prepare and process all exit documentation, including Certificate of Service and UI19’s
  • Perform all performance management, training and IR administration
  • Co-ordinate all logistics for disciplinary processes and capture records on the relevant system
  • Timeous follow-up on all employee queries
  • All ad-hoc reporting and document management
  • Actively and consistently maintain high standards of professionalism in all aspects of personal presentation and delivery

Requirements:

  • A matric qualification
  • Relevant HR related diploma an advantage
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage People and VIP is essential.
  • MS Office Suite: Excel, Word and Outlook intermediate
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of basic HR processes and principles
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change
  • Plan, prioritize and actively manage competing demands
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
