Role Overview
NTK Retail is seeking a Floor Assistant at its Modimolle store. This entry-level permanent role is designed to support daily store operations by ensuring that merchandise is accurately brought from the stockroom to the sales floor. The Floor Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining product availability, supporting customer service, and ensuring the store remains organised and functional. The position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, team-focused, and eager to contribute to a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Floor Assistant will be responsible for:

• Drawing merchandise from the stockroom as requested by store management
• Marking and packing merchandise onto shelves for customer access
• Maintaining organisation and order on the sales floor
• Assisting the team in keeping the store visually appealing and functional
• Supporting overall retail operations to enhance the customer experience

Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification
• Previous experience in agricultural retail is advantageous
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Compliance with store procedures and company policies
• Organising, planning, and personal resilience
• Client service orientation with attention to detail
• Ability to add consistent value to store operations
