Asavela Mngqithi Pens A Heartfelt Appreciation Message As Isibaya Comes To An End. Many fans of the Mzansi Magic telenovela still can’t get over the reality that their favorite show is coming to an end. This is simply because, Isibaya has been one of the greatest shows on the channels, as well as a favorite across South Africa and surrounding countries.

Sadly even good things do come to an end, with Isibaya being a case in point. Already we have witnessed talented actors like Muzi Mthabela, Jessica Nkosi, Menzi Ngubane, Siyabonga Thwala and Nomzamo Mbatha exit Isibaya. After a whooping seven years, it is sadly, the end of the road for the telenovela. The Bomb productions show will be replaced by ‘Diepsloot’ which is produced by Black Brain.

As it is the norm, when a show ends, the cast bids farewell to the production and viewers. Asavela Mngqithi, who was one of Isibaya’s loved actresses took to social media to open up about her journey on the show. Asavela revealed she was supposed to be on the show for only six moths, but her character remained went on to air for almost four years. This was her first time on TV as an actress, and she is thankful for the golden opportunity.

What was supposed to be 6 months on @isibayamzansi turned into almost 4 years of fun and learning. I still can’t believe I made my TV debut on ISIBAYA ? It would’ve never been possible without you @bongani__gumede playing your daughter has healed me in more ways than one and that is something I will forever cherish.

Thank you @bomb_productions @mzansimagic @isibayamzansi for trusting and believing in me,” Asavela said.

Another Isibaya actor, Nkanyiso Mzimela also let it out there that he was shooting his last scene for the show. We wish the cast and crew members of Isibaya all the best in their future endeavors.
