Pearl Thusi Sets the Record Straight Regarding Her Stand With ANC. One thing about our celebrities, they are never shy to reveal which political party they go with. Quite a number of them have endorsed the ruling party African National Congress, while others are staunch Economic Freedom Fighters supporters.

When it comes to politics though, never say never. Today an individual can be a member of this party, and the next day move on to a totally different political home. This trend has even happened with some of our celebrities. There was a time when Ntando Duma was a staunch ANC member who attended party rallies, but now the actress and media personality has switched to the EFF. Pearl Thusi who also once actively promoted ANC is now singing a different tune.

According to Pearl, she was not really into ANC, even when she used to rock their T-shirts and attend rallies. The actress, media personality and entrepreneur says she needed rent money and actively promoted any party including the Democratic Alliance (DA). Despite all the clarity she gives, people still associate Pearl with ANC.

To those who are still not convinced, Pearl has decided to share an old tweet where she bashed the ruling party. She wants everyone who still thinks she is an ANC member to check out the tweet.

“I swear if the ANC wins elections again then we just have a deep rooted self hate as a nation. We have to find another option,” reads the tweet.
