“This Has Been The Most Fulfilling Journey Of My Life,” Thabile Ngwato As Newzroom Afrika Launches. The 24-hour news channel, which replaced the Gupta-owned ANN7, was officially launched on Thursday evening. Co-Founder and CEO of Newzroom Afrika Thabile Ngwato is over the moon about this major project.
Ever since news that the channel is on its way , Thabile has been updating her followers about every little detail. Many have been waiting for the big day and it finally came. This can’t be an easy project, more so when you starting it from scratch. The former SABC news anchor could not help but gush at her accomplishment.
“This has been and will be the most fulfilling journey of my life. So grateful to lead a team of talented, committed and inspiring individuals, alongside the best business partner anyone could ask for – Thokozani Nkosi. Words can never be enough,” she said in a heartfelt tweet.
Newzroom Afrika is the bran child of television production entrepreneurs Thokozani Nkosi of Eclipse TV and former SABC news anchor Thabile Ngwato, of Rapid Innovation. Both own 50% of the company.
