Check Out The SAMA24 Nominees List. The first nominees for the 2018 South African Music Awards have been released. These first nominees were announced at a bash in Birchwood Hotel in Ekurhuleni on Thursday night. Nominees in the following five categories will only be confirmed next month: Male Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Duo/Group of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Album of the Year.
