Carol Tshabalala Announced As New CEO of Major Digital Communication Organization. Congratulations are in order for Carol Tshabalala, who is flying high with a new role. The award winning sportscaster, MC and producer has just joined iME as their CEO.

The role will see Tshabalala leading iME’s Africa growth agenda, with a focus on market development, strategic partnerships, and regional execution in high-potential African economies. She brings to the role more than two decades of experience across broadcasting, executive production, live events, and international sports media. Tshabalala has built a career spanning SABC Sport, SuperSport, Premier League Productions, major global tournaments, and high-profile live event hosting. Her experience combines strong audience credibility, deep continental insight, and global media reach, making her exceptionally well placed to lead iME’s expansion in Africa.
Tshabalala will help drive iME’s emerging markets strategy by identifying scalable opportunities across media, sport, business, and digital communities, while advancing the company’s broader vision to create a connected future using video technology.
Tshabalala has been winning as a career woman, and we love this for her. A couple of months ago, she joined This Sporting Channel podcast as one of their hosts.
The podcast, gives the world’s view on sport. They are all about giving their listeners sports news as well as sports culture. Carol made her debut episode alongside Natalie Sawyer (Europe) and Edward Russell (Asia) and the trio reviewed the European football season.
