Lorna Maseko Dragged To Court

Television personality Lorna Maseko who just opened a bakery last week in Sandton reportedly owes R745K for her new business venture. Her company Fabulous Productions, has been dragged to the Johannesburg South Gauteng High Court for breaching the agreement with the previous owner by failing to pay the full purchase price.

Maseko’s restaurant was opened in December, and is part of a franchise owned by Famous Brands.  In May, Tubalix which is trading as Bread Basket served summons on Maseko but she did not pay the company and continued with business as usual. The case though it’s still sub-judice and none of the parties can’t say much on the issue until they meet in court.

Inspite of all this, Lorna woke up in a positive mood as she tweeted, “Good morning beautiful people.Go get that dream despite any adversity or being dooped into dishonest business deals! Live | Dream | Achieve.” Maseko’s restaurant was opened in December, and is part of a franchise owned by Famous Brands.
