A.K.A Explains His Reasons For Not Showing Up At The Mzansi Hip Hop Festival! Rapper A.K.A took it upon himself to tell us why he withdrew from attending the festival he was expected to perform at over the weekend. The rapper said that if there’s one thing he would never do is perform for a small crowd.
“I made a decision a long time ago that I only want to perform to big crowds” A.K.A twitted.
He specified by saying that , a small crowd to him are people less than 500. He tweeted to clarify himself once again and said “We negotiated with the organiser to come back to the event if the gig filled up. We never got the call. So yah.”
The rapper went on to tweet that the problem is if he gets on stage and perform to an empty crowd, it will be called an A.K.A show when it was simply a booking.
It’s a good thing A.K.A emphasized this point that way whoever thinks of booking him should know that they should have more than 500 people attending.
